LESSON 1: Common Bisaya Words used in Alicia Bohol, Philippines

Bisaya is one of the languages used in the Philippines. This is a regional and a native language used in Visayas Region like in Cebu, Leyte, Bohol and other neighboring regions. Like other languages, Bisaya also differs in some words, accent, and terminology depending on the geographical location of the local people.

Some areas in Bohol speak Bisaya in a tough tone of voice. They often use a J letter than Y. For example the word "MAAYO" instead of using y they often replace it into j and pronounce it as "MAAJO".

Here are some of the common words used by Aliciahanon people.
